Should I include my CV with my application?

Yes, you should upload your CV with your application.

 

Will I receive an email confirming my application?

Yes, upon submission of your application, you will receive a confirmation email.

 

I’m a qualitative researcher, can I still apply for a TAV?

Yes, some datasets include qualitative data. You should research the datasets to find out which is most suitable to your research.

 

Can you recommend a dataset/institution for me to apply to?

It is the applicant’s responsibility to research the datasets available to be accessed via the TAV.

 

Do I need to use all my visit days within one visit?

No, you can split your allocated visit days over a period of time, as long as the visit costs does not exceed the budget allocation and the maximum allowance of visit days (15 working days).

 

Can I apply for a visit at another institution that is in the same country as I’m working?

No, you can only apply to visit an institution/dataset that is a country other than the one you’re working/residing in.

 

I’m from a non-EU country but residing and working in an EU country. Am I eligible to apply?

Yes, if you are working in an EU country or associated country (see TAV policy document for list of associated countries) you are eligible to apply. However, it will be your responsibility to make the necessary travel VISA arrangements to visit your preferred institution/dataset.

 

How long after the call will I hear if my application was successful?

We aim to let applicants know the outcome of their application one month after the deadline of the call.
