COORDINATE Project launch Safeguarding Manual

Research with children and young people faces additional ethical challenges compared to research with adults. Beyond securing parental consent and making sure that children provide informed consent, researchers must also receive adequate training before conducting fieldwork. There is always a possibility that research conducted with children uncovers some safeguarding issues.

COORDINATE Project has  produced this useful Safeguarding Manual on how to notice and address issues related to child protection in research contexts.
